Symphony X - The Damnation Game LP (Mint Green vinyl)
Wholly believing it to rival any of the band's catalogue, I consider the criminally underrated The Damnation Game to be the first of Symphony X's lengthy streak of sequential masterpieces, owing much to Russell Allen's debut as lead vocalist, improved production values as well as slighty more refined, less raw composition. This is the where the reputation of Symphony X as one of, if not the, greatest group of all time truly begins. As such, I hereby highly recommend this record to any enthusiast of progressive, technical material that has heart and soul in spades or indeed good music in general. When Symphony X play The Damnation Game, can anyone say perfect score? I unquestionably can and will!
