This is the kind of album you should listen to when you want to take a tour of an old castle or lay in the forest at night time. The feeling is absolutely amazing, and this album truly does capture the feel of the dark medieval times, despite only being made in the early 90s. I can understand this albums faults, but I can't understand people that call it generic or bland. Every song on the album is different from the other, and the album as a whole I have yet to hear be compared to by anything else. You're definitely not going to hear another album like it. This should be listened to at least once by every metalhead, and is a worthy album of being in your collection. I personally (as well as many others) consider it one of the best black metal albums of all time.
