Well, what we have here then? This is a ripe, superb record. Novembre surpassed again themselves by polishing and giving further consistency to their sound. They crafted a more mature output, musically and lyrically. Ursa is one of their most compelling records if not the best they have ever achieved. It will require dedication, time and several spins to be fully understood, even more for those still unfamiliar with Novembre's sound, but once you tear through the very first layers of this work then it will open up like a bloom, flourishing into sheer, all-consuming beauty.
