LIMBONIC ART - In Abhorrence Dementia 2-LP (Orange Purple Splatter Vinyl)
Much like with the last album, the poetic nature of the lyrics are done really well here, and puts in just enough detail to emphasize the cold nature of astral blazes. These poetic verses are also well-fitting to the album, as the classical synths and powerful riffs further enhance the themes of beauty and hatred, a style that Limbonic Art has done well throughout their career. In keeping with the themes of cosmos and Satanism, the songwriting remains as mean as ever.
Compared to Moon in the Scorpio, In Abhorrence Dementia feels a lot more extreme and intimidating with a more vast atmosphere, enduring harsh vocals, and poetic lyrics for the cherry on top. I personally don't find it flawless considering it starts to lose its maximum power in the end, but it does come at a close second to the debut in terms of the overall quality. If you're looking for some intense symphonic black metal that does not hold back any punches, then you have to check this out.
