INTESTINE BAALISM - The Energumenus Digi-CD

Intestine Baalism has always been hailed as the ultimate example of melodic death metal done right, combining the brutality of death metal with NWOBHM-inspired melody into their sound. But one thing I noticed amongst people who discuss this is that this demo is never brought up at all, which is quite a bummer because the material here is very good, and very Dismember-sounding. There is even a track here that does not appear in any of their full lengths.

What made this demo distinctly different from the rest is that it has an actual intro and outro track that consist solely of synths, unlike their full lengths, in which the intro and outro songs are just OSDM songs in a melodeath album. This is something I want them to bring back in their 4th full length because it shows a slower, more mellow side that gives IB an extra layer of depth
