GORGOROTH - Under The Sign Of Hell 2011 CD

I have a deep love for this album, particularly this re-recorded version, and I struggle to justify the low rating it has on Metallum. To me, it's an honest re-recording that captures and preserves its artistic truth, influence, and inspiration, while also presenting an improved layout and a more contemporary aesthetic. I can listen to 'Under the Sign of Hell 2011' on repeat hundreds of times without ever growing bored, and I hold it in high regard as a black metal classic. Is it the best black metal album? Perhaps not, but it certainly ranks among the finest. Is it my favourite? Maybe not, but it's unquestionably among my top picks. Hail Satan!
