EXODUS - Tempo Of The Damned CD

In my opinion, there were three albums by older bands that defined the thrash metal renaissance in the 00s. Those being this album, The Formation Of Damnation by Testament and Endgame by Megadeth. Tempo Of The Damned might be the best of them. The songwriting is extremely sharp, the songs are memorable and Andy Sneaps’ production makes the album sound like a destructive, unapologetic wall of brutality and anger. For a band that had been completely inactive for over a decade, at least studio album-wise, this album is nothing but a musical triumph, and it easily stands as one of the best comeback albums in heavy metal history.
