CONCRETE WINDS - Concrete Winds CD

If there's one thing that I absolutely love about Concrete Winds, it's that their sound is jam-packed with riff after jarring riff in ways that not many bands have touched on. There are hundreds of death metal bands that have (succesfully or otherwise) read the books of the cavernous Incantation, the filthy Autopsy, and the groovy Bolt Thrower, which is fine and dandy...but few (if any) have conjured a uniquely bloodthirsty blend of lesser-known bands like Necrovore and Order From Chaos in such a remarkably fresh way. I'm in love with the way that they take some of the most inaccessible remnants of extreme metal and twerkify it without sacrificing any of their integrity, and I don't think I'll get tired of it any time soon.
