Bloodbath set out to make their old school death metal pummel through their listeners' brains once again with the newest addition to their catalog of carnage with ‘Survival of the Sickest’. Bloodbath has remained relatively consistent with their output over the years and it seems like they’ve delivered once more, with a refreshing enjoyable death metal record that keeps true to the bands roots by combining Swedish influences of Entombed and Dismember with the likes of old school U.S death metal like Death and Cannibal Corpse, a recipe that they’re known for and very good at.
