Bestial black metal has never failed to disappoint me, and arguably one of my favorite bands from this genre is the all infamous Archgoat. Based in Finland, they would release two demos before they released their debut EP "Angelcunt (Tales of Desecration)", and then disband shortly after said release. While their later studio albums are great and all, I personally consider their 1993 EP to be their magnum opus. From the rough and dark instruments to the agonizing vocals, there is a lot to love with this bestial release.
Of all the releases from Archgoat, this 1993 EP of theirs is easily one of my favorites for many good reasons. The instrumentals are absolutely brutal in their sound, and Rainer's vocals only enforce this with his growls and deep-pitched screams. While Archgoat won't release anything new until the mid-2000s, this EP has stood the test of time and remains a classic along with their debut album "Whore of Bethlehem". If you're a fan of some old-school bestial black metal bands like Blasphemy or Beherit, this is an EP I highly recommend.
